Workforce challenges plague the social care sector throughout the world. We face seemingly intractable problems with almost every dimension of workforce – among them recruitment, retention, and training. Social care is a people business; without people there is no care.  On 6 September, join global experts for an engaging discussion on workforce. We will take a hard look at trends and explore solutions including the role of technology, immigration and migration, training, and professionalization. The Summit will include a discussion of the ethical, quality and rights-based implications of not only the workforce challenges but these and other solutions.   

The International Workforce Summit is a one-day event that will be held at the Clayton Hotel in Glasgow, Scotland. Participation in the International Workforce Summit is a separate cost from the Global Ageing Conference.
